Book series

The Department of History has been publishing its own series of publications since 1988. This can be obtained directly from the Department: Department of History, attn. Ms. Birgit Tauscheck, Heinrichstraße 26/2, A-8010 Graz, geschichte(at)uni-graz.at

by O.Univ.-Prof. Prof. h. c. Dr. Karl Kaser

The book series founded by Ferdinand Hauptmann in 1972 is - as the title suggests - not limited to historical publications, but is also open to questions from neighboring disciplines. Incidentally, this also applied to the predecessor series published almost a century ago by Ćirko Truhelka in Sarajevo.

"To the customer of the Balkan Peninsula". The Graz series deliberately aims to fulfill this mission. The book series is published by Böhlau.
The book series is divided into three sections:
I: Translations
II: General Series
III: Albanological Studies (edited jointly with Helmut Eberhart)

"Studies on South East Europe"is edited by Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr. Karl Kaser.

Founded in 2004, the book series focuses on the interdisciplinary linking of cultural anthropology and history as well as neighboring disciplines. It includes historical-anthropological, sociological and cultural studies works as well as works generated in communicative research. The series is published by Lit-Verlag.

New research on East-Central and South-East European history
