The new orientation period (new StEOP) in the regular bachelor’s and diploma programmes came into force in autumn 2017.
In accordance with § 60 (1b) Universities Act, students are provided with university and study-related information in the course of orientation events. In addition, the Senate Guideline for Adjustment of the Study Orientation Period of January 20, 2016 provides information about the necessary content of orientation events. In order to comply with this, university-wide universal information was compiled on a website and is available at https://studienstart.uni-graz.at/.
