Joint Degree Master Study "History of Southeast Europe"
The joint degree Master Study “History of Southeast Europe” constitutes a fulltime study, which takes two years at the amount of 120 ECTS credits. The program offers a specific academic training that focuses at history and historical anthropology of Southeast Europe in the context of European integration. The universities of the consortium have elaborated a joint curriculum with regional aspects and guarantee for its academic quality.
Students do not only receive a professional training and further education; the program emphasizes mobility in order to deepen intercultural understanding. The international dimension of the program increases the competitiveness of the graduates on the labour market.
After graduation the graduates receive a joint master degree by the participating universities, which will be acknowledged automatically by the countries of the consortium. Academic degrees and the related rights in the respective countries will be awarded by the participating countries separately.
The program was initiated by the Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, the University of Graz and the University of Ljubljana as full-valued partner institutions. The current status is result of a first step of extension.
